About these terms

These terms explain how ThekeYaar, a BuyBuildSell Infratech brand, works and what you agree to when you use this website or the ThekeYaar platform. ThekeYaar helps homeowners in Delhi NCR find checked contractors and coordinates projects with them. We do not carry out construction work ourselves.

By using the website or the platform, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

Accounts & responsible use

To plan a project, you create an account on the ThekeYaar platform. Keep your details accurate and your login private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Please use the platform for genuine home projects only. Do not misuse it, attempt to access other people’s information, copy listings in bulk or interfere with how it works. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Contractors & verification

Contractors are independent professionals, not ThekeYaar employees. Profiles are reviewed before contractors appear in search, and a completed ID check is recorded with its own badge.

An ID-check badge confirms a completed identity check; it does not guarantee workmanship. Review each contractor’s recorded experience, services and work photos, and ask your coordinator anything you need before deciding.

Project scope & agreements

You can shortlist up to three contractors per service, or ask your coordinator to choose. A site visit records measurements, and the proposal sets out the scope, quantities, labour rates, optional extras and who arranges materials.

Work begins only after you approve the proposal. The agreement for your project is between you and the contractor; your coordinator helps keep it clear and on record.

Quotes, fees & payments

Each service group has a published labour rate. Measurements determine the proposal, and a final rate is never below the published starting rate. Labour rates do not include materials, which are recorded separately.

Taxes and the final payable amount are confirmed in your proposal. Payments are recorded against each project stage so you can see what has been paid and what is due.

Changes, cancellations & concerns

Stage photos come to you for review. You can approve a stage or ask for changes through your coordinator; stages are never approved automatically. If a review window passes without a decision, work pauses for follow-up.

If something goes wrong or you want to change or cancel the work, tell your coordinator as early as you can. Changes to the agreed scope may change the quote, and any amount already due for completed work remains payable.

Content & intellectual property

The ThekeYaar name, logo, website, illustrations and text belong to BuyBuildSell Infratech or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

When you share photos, documents or reviews on the platform, you keep ownership of them and allow us to use them to run your project and the service.

Responsibilities & your rights

We aim to keep the platform accurate and available, and to coordinate your project with care. Contractors are responsible for the work they carry out. To the extent the law allows, ThekeYaar is not liable for indirect losses arising from a contractor’s work.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Updates & legal details

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date of the latest version is shown on this page, and continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
